My friend Laurie made this great Organizer Cover for Coffee Cans and is letting me post the pictures. This is a very easy pattern to make and you are recycling at the same time. It is great for organizing many different items. I use one in the bathroom and a few in my sewing studio and I have made many for friends and family.

I got a solid Black German Shepherd puppy on Thursday. I had been looking for about a year for one, before I found her on the Internet a few weeks ago. I wanted to find a puppy close by, so we could pick her up, rather than having her shipped. We drove for 5 hours to pick her up, but well worth the trip. We saw the parents and the other litter mates and when we saw her it was love at first site.
I named her Skylar and she is 8 weeks old. She is so smart, within the couple of days that she has been here; she already walks great on a leash. Also, she knows her way back to the house after a little walk. But, I forgot how busy a puppy is and how busy a puppy can keep you!
Skylar has been a lot of fun and fits right into the family, here is her first picture.
