A Banner to Brighten Up My Day!
I made myself a banner for my sewing studio, as you can see I had to hang it over the hallway leading down to the movie room. I'm a little short on wall space; I should have made three banners instead of two. But, I like it there, the ceilings are high and it brightens up my sewing studio.

Rick Rack Candle Mat Free pdf Pattern
Think Spring! I made this Rick Rack Candle Mat with Spring colors, I'm so tired of winter, I needed something that looked like fresh flowers. It is a Charm square friendly project, fun and very easy to make. My little buttons are bees and flowers; I purchased them, in store, at Joann Fabrics.

Photos of Skylar
Here are some updated photos of my little angel Skylar. She has been just a joy and with Cesar Millan aka the Dog Whisperer's help she is doing great. She goes everywhere with me, we are always together.

Today I got my Heather Bailey, Nicey Jane fabric in the mail. I love Heather Bailey fabric, the colors and designs are great.
I don't have a sewing project in mind, but I'm sure I will think of something.

Reader's Book Bag with Pockets
This is a free pdf pattern.
Some of the fabric is cut using the Studio Die Cutter, the dies used are Tumbler Block #2 (50219) and Rose Sampler Jumbo die 2 of 3 (50192).
It is fun and very easy to make and of course sews up great using the die cuts. Every Tumber Shape is cut perfect and seams match, like a dream come true.
This is my first pattern I made up, using some of my dies and it was so much fun to make. So, check back for more free patterns using the Studio Die cuts.
